With all the online backup services out there,such as Mozy, Carbonite,
Amazon S3, which one is the cheapest but reliable?

There many online backup services and solutions. Mozy and Carbonite seem to be the leaders. They offer the “complete service” including desktop software and data storage. Amazon only has the backend storage but Amazon is bar far the best Cloud Storage provider but it is not well known to customers.

Mozy and Carbonite have many negative reviews and angry users becuse of their poor software quality and customer support. It is very hard to restore your files if something goes wrong. You can find lots of such reports by searching their names.

There are a lot of very good 3rd party software let you backup to Amazon. I would recommend NetCDP to all home users, it is the easiest I have seen so far but with almost everything you need as an online backup application. I have been using it since its Beta and very happy with it. Check it out at http://www.netcdp.com

I know she goes on and on in her blog writing about how she’s just a regular ol’ baseball fan, but give me a fucking break.
